OREO takes sweet and savoury somewhere completely unexpected with the Limited Edition Chicken & Waffles Sandwich Cookies.

Inspired by the American comfort-food favourite, these feature waffle-embossed golden cookies filled with two layers of flavoured creme, combining the savoury notes of fried chicken with the sweetness of maple syrup.

It’s one of OREO’s most unusual creations yet and the brand’s first sweet-and-savoury flavour combination. The result brings together sweet maple flavour and a contrasting salty, savoury edge for an OREO that is very different from anything in the regular range.

Part of OREO’s limited edition Twist, Lick, Vote collection, Chicken & Waffles launches alongside Banana Pudding and Deep Fried Cookies, with fans getting the chance to decide which flavour returns for another limited run in 2027.

Despite the name, OREO has confirmed that Chicken & Waffles contains no meat and is vegetarian-friendly.
